Dr Ahmed Naji leads our implant and surgical treatment at Market Place Dental.
Ahmed qualified as a dentist in 2006 and has spent nearly two decades building genuine expertise in implant dentistry and oral surgery. After further UK qualification in 2010 and years in general practice gaining broad clinical experience, he completed a Master's degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Manchester, with a particular focus on evidence-based implant therapy.
Ahmed is a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and a co-founder of the British Society of Implant Dentistry. In 2018, he was awarded a fellowship from the Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital Trust to support clinical research into bone regeneration techniques — work that continues to inform the minimally invasive, regeneration-focused approach he brings to every case at Market Place Dental. He also holds a role as a clinical research fellow and lecturer in oral surgery at the Institute of Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London, keeping his knowledge at the leading edge of the field.
Ahmed's clinical focus spans the full range of implant dentistry — from straightforward single tooth replacements to complex bone and gum defects — always approached with a minimally invasive philosophy designed to keep treatment as comfortable as possible.
What our patients consistently notice, though, is his manner. Ahmed takes the time to explain every step clearly, listens properly to any concerns, and creates a calm, unhurried space — whether you're having a straightforward implant or a more complex case. You're not just getting an expert; you're getting someone who genuinely puts you at ease.
