Market Place Dental will be taking the awareness message to the Dunmow Town Square on 7 June from 11am as part of National Smile Month 2023

National Smile Month is a charity campaign all about championing the benefits of having good oral health and promoting the value of a healthy smile. Between 15 May and 15 June, the Oral Health Foundation will be raising awareness of important health issues and ready to put a smile on everybody's face.

At Market Place Dental we are passionate about good oral health not just here in Dunmow but around the world. We support the work of some fantastic charities that provide dental care and general health care in situations where it is not readily available.

In 2022 we focused some of our fundraising efforts on raising money for the Trinity Dental Clinic and Training Centre in Liberia. Money raised was donated towards the building of critically needed dental training facilities. In 2023 we again focus our attention on fundraising towards this critical training.

Market Place Dental are supporting Willing and Abel during October, November and December 2022. The charity seeks to provide connections between children in developing nations and specialist centres, helping with visas, passports, transportation and finances.

Market Place Dental is fundraising for Dentaid from July - September 2022. Dentaid works tirelessly to improve access to safe, sustainable care for people who are suffering due to a lack of dental treatment. Sadly, there are 1.7 billion people in the world who are suffering from toothache and 70 per cent of the population doesn’t have access to a dentist.
