9th August is National Book Lovers' Day - A day to encourage the joy and fun of reading. We have some books in our waiting area that encourage children to read about the importance of looking after their teeth and smiles.

July 27th is "World Head and Neck Cancer Day". This annual event is observed around the world to increase awareness about head and neck cancer

Market Place Dental will be taking the awareness message to the Dunmow Town Square on 7 June from 11am as part of National Smile Month 2023

National Smile Month is a charity campaign all about championing the benefits of having good oral health and promoting the value of a healthy smile. Between 15 May and 15 June, the Oral Health Foundation will be raising awareness of important health issues and ready to put a smile on everybody's face.

We have some lovely dental theme books in our waiting area that encourage children to read, and to mark World Book Day, here are some of our favourites.

In 2022 we focused some of our fundraising efforts on raising money for the Trinity Dental Clinic and Training Centre in Liberia. Money raised was donated towards the building of critically needed dental training facilities. In 2023 we again focus our attention on fundraising towards this critical training.
